Just who the heck are you guys ?

Celestial Mischief began as a small group of friends and like-minded people playing together to have fun.  It was started with one simple goal in mind -- to bring people together who could play well. This didn't mean people who had calculated the exact magic resistance of a gnoll shaman or who could spout off a damage comparison of different scout poisons at every tier.  It just meant people who understood their role, knew their class, and could get the job done.  The idea was simple, if we called out in guild chat to put a group together, we didn't have to worry about who was going to respond.

We had aspirations of someday being a high-level guild and getting Spirit Steeds, but that was never our main focus. From the start, we strove to extract status, experience, and loot from fun, rather than the other way around.  Our first thought has always been what's the most fun, and afterwards we tried to figure out what else we could get from an adventure.

But as that old commercial used to say, "you tell two friends and they tell two friends..."  Slowly, our guild grew as we met more and more people across Norrath that just seemed to fit with us.  No place is the right place for everyone, but more often than not by getting to know people before they join, people who joined CM tended to stay in CM.

As most people do, we continue to group for experience, for quests, and for loot, but we would like to think that above all we simply enjoy playing together. We raid regularly but this is optional, and no one is required to attend.  There are raids across multiple tiers as we try to give everyone a place to participate if they choose.  Our current raid schedule tends to be Wednesday and Friday, with raid formation starting at 8:30pm EST.

And like anywhere else, there are a few things we cannot tolerate. One of them is intolerance (pun intended, but it's still true).  The only other thing that can be an issue is abuse of free speech.  Guild chat is akin to sitting in a public place where everyone around you can clearly hear you.  If you feel it's your given right to say whatever you like in public, regardless of how it might impact those around you... you may be better served somewhere else.  Your freedom ends where the next person's begins and vice versa. There is a one month trial period before becoming a member.

If any of this sounds interesting, please feel free to have a look at the roster, find some folks around your level and put them on your Friends list.  Feel free to start your own post here on the forums and hopefully we can get together and play sometime.
