The CM Raid Force rocked Sullon's Spire Wednesday night! CM steamrolled Hragdold the Frenzied, and then backed up and took him down again just to prove it was no fluke. But far from done for the night, the raid force moved on and took down two other first time kills in Mrogr Bloodtaint and Aaranae Acrimae!

Outstanding job everyone! What a fun night of raiding it was.
Everyone please congratulate Mayia for being Celestial Mischief's Raider of the Month for December! After evaluating the many options, the raid council and CM leadership selected the Maestro of the MT group as the December 2011 winner.

In sports, the discussion often turns to the "best drafts of the season" and the athletes that have made the largest impact on a team with their presence. Mayia is just one of those types of people for Celestial Mischief. Always seeming to be in a great mood, and with a personality that simply sparkles, there is an energy that she brings that makes raid night a fun place to be.

Along with that comes a player with skill at her class, a desire to be constantly improving, and to help others improve as well with her insightful and witty posts. Add it all up and you have yourself a team member who raises the standard of the raid force (and guild as a whole) simply by showing up. There are few who have this talent naturally, but we're certainly glad we found this one to be a part of the CM family.

So for everything you do and the energy that you bring to CM, a big thank you and congrats on Raider of the Month. You are definitely Hot Stuff in our book!!!

Mayia will have her banner posted here on the forums. In addition, Bella has made the Maestro of positive energy her own poster! Stay tuned for next month's winner...

Celestial Mischief is currently recruiting!

We are a guild full of friendly (but skilled) players who enjoy grouping, questing and raiding together. To make it short, we’re here to have fun. Throughout our six-plus years here on Butcherblock, we’ve had quite a lot of success at balancing our guild as a family-style, fun-loving guild that could also put together a strong raid force to tackle much of the content in the game. Grouping instances and X2s Monday, Tuesday, and Weekends, slaying nasty epic dragons on Wednesday & Thursday, along with alternating Fridays. What more could you ask for?

Now, there is no requirement to raid if you are a member of CM, and we do have members here who do not raid regularly. But we are currently bolstering our raid force to further progress through the Velious content. We have a very solid core raid force and are now gearing up to progress through the new raid zones. We do have some openings for needed classes listed below.

Want to know more about us? See our About Celestial Mischief page.

We are currently recruiting the following classes for our raid force:

-1 Assasin OR Swashy - High Priority
-1 Chain Healer - Med Priority
-1 Leather Healer - Med Priority

All skilled players will be considered, and are welcomed to apply.

Please contact one of the following officers/recruiters in-game with any questions.  Or CLICK HERE to apply.

   Soraan/Wolfbeurn

       Broadaxe/Faylen

       Xaiveir/Xanthes/Xyven

       Pine/Tranc/Heeya

       Khotu/Peala/Fedog

Unoo/Howdy Doody (inside joke, you would be wise to just call Unoo “The Godfather”…)

The CM Raid Force bagged the contested mob, Trantor XII, in a quick and decisive battle. The giant wooly mammoth was a nasty beast, and the smell was terrible. But once the raid force was able to maneuver upwind of the Dwarf, the smell was much improved and the mob went down eaaasy...

   Nice job CM!!!

In other news:   Pine calls for guild-wide celebration- he found his pants!!!

The raidforce of CM (like butta) has been on a roll recently. After clearing all the EM mobs, and doing a little farming, it was time to take our first foray into Sullons Spire.  Like other mobs before it (and many to come after) Ragebourne Gregor Haldane stood little chance against CM.

He went down pretty easily, and it only took us a few pulls to get it right, however once again i slacked off, and did not take a kill shot.  However, i cannot take full blame for not snapping a shot, as some other events of the evening were a bit distracting.

This is an artists interpretation of how the events unfolded last night........

Great job by all!  And Pine, we will find you some pants soon buddy, no more crying, there is no crying in EQ2.......
